Or even better, why don't you implement a secondary mode similar to IRONWILL, which also doesn't allow saving and will instead save every turn, where the save will get deleted when the player dies? The requirements to finish a game like that would essentially be the same as with Hardcore Nerdiness, the big difference being that players don't have to rage and start over when the game crashes. You should implement a possibility for the game to detect a crash, thus NOT penalizing the player for the crash but instead allowing to load after a crash without making getting the achievement impossible. So yeah, there's another issue here, that achievement is impossible to get if the game goes crashing, and the Hardcore Nerdiness achievement requires playing a game in one go, practically calling for a crash along the many hours it'll take. The crash to desktop occurred (exceptionally annoyingly) while I tried to go for the Hardcore Nerdiness achievement, essentially wasting my chances without it being my fault. That being said I have 4 files in the Errors folder, I could upload them as well if useful. ![]() While I did start the game again I neither ended it nor did it crash again.
